Does God speak? Oh yes, He does! From the day He healed me physically and emotionally, He began to wake my spirit. He spoke then and He continues to speak to me now. His Word is just as active and alive today as it was when the Bible was written. (Hebrews 4:12) His Spirit speaks only what is in the Father’s heart and He never speaks on His own. (John 16:13)
I desire the Father’s will because He is the one who created me and gave me purpose. More importantly, He is the only One who can fulfill that purpose. However, I desire His heart even more. I do not want to be a doer, only like a soldier following an order from their captain. I long to share the feelings of my King and hear His whisper. I want to respond to Him with the whisper of my heart saying, “Here I am, use me.” I want Him to hold tightly to my soul.
What does it truly mean for Him to hold tightly to your soul? Let me share one example with you…
Throughout 2021 the Lord kept using numbers to get my attention. When the year was drawing to a close and it was time for my husband and me to begin to prepare for the Life with Christ Ministries annual dinner, we knew the date would be January 22, 2022. The number 2 from a biblical perspective means division. Why would God have us host the annual dinner on a date which symbolically means division? Right there, at that moment, I could have chosen to be a doer and a doer alone– to follow His instruction and be content in my obedience. But I am grateful that the Spirit revealed the thoughts of God as I sought His heart as well.
The numbers 22 and 2022 represent a time of great division– not only between the Kingdom and the world but also within His people. It is referring to the serious divisions that are occurring in HIS Kingdom here on earth. HIS churches have created their own territories, HIS workers have become their own bosses, and HIS body is not CONNECTED! God even offered me a vision of His body being torn apart. He let me experience the grieving of the Holy Spirit and it was heavy in my heart. This led me to seek the Lord’s face, receive His will, and follow His instruction more deeply.
“Unity, ALL IN For Christ” became the theme of the 2022 annual dinner. It started with a message which needed to be delivered and it ended with all who attended locking arms to demonstrate their desire to work together for His Kingdom.
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:20-23, NIV)
I saw my Lord Jesus demonstrate the full message of “Unity ALL IN For Christ” throughout that evening. Through the scriptures that were shared, the understanding of His scripture, the servants God had chosen to speak, the small activity we completed, and even the decorations at the venue… it all aligned with this same message. At the entrance, we displayed a painting of arms wrapped around the cross and the words “Love Strong-Unity-ALL IN- For Christ”. This lovely painting, created at my request by my sister in Christ, Leslie, served as a key part of our closing activity for the dinner. Anyone who made a commitment to be unified and ALL IN for Christ Jesus was asked to stand up and lock their arms. We then asked them to sign their names on the back of this painting to represent the commitment they had made.
Was there any real impact on the individuals who attended this dinner? I cannot answer that question, but I know our Lord was pleased. Whatever He asks us to do must carry His power, especially in the spiritual realm where we cannot see with our eyes. But to me, I have not let this thought go away from me, and I never will. I am more aware than ever before that I am a part of His Body. I have always said, “Even if I am just a nail on His tiny finger, I am honored and grateful.”
I am ALL IN for Christ and I do not want it to be just me alone. Would you be willing to join me in being unified and ALL IN for Jesus?

Coria had approached me about doing a painting for the Life with Christ Ministries annual dinner. She gave me the theme, “Love Strong–Unity –ALL IN –For Christ”, and the colors that represented the ministries God had given her and her husband, Chris. Right away I felt the Lord give me three ideas which I sketched out. I then let Chris and Coria pick the design they liked the best. The design chosen was inspired by the ALL IN logo which is a women’s movement God lead Coria to start for His Kingdom that I am also a part of. Several years ago God showed Coria in a dream this image of a combined cross and sword and said like warriors we must put on His golden armor and lay down our lives with sacrificial love and pick up our cross with sacrificial faith. We must walk out to the battlefield and take back His lands and mountains. We must be a unified army for Jesus that stands strongly in His love and be ALL IN for His name. With the importance of this type of surrendered life in mind, the Love Strong—Unity– ALL IN– For Christ painting was created.

Coria and Leslie, thank you so much for sharing your artwork and story behind it! For quite some time I have also felt that it is time for the Body of Christ to come together and forget about minor disagreements in doctrines that are not essential to the gospel. It is time for us to surrender and say “anything Lord, anything you want, I am completely surrendered to you”. There is much work to do for the Kingdom to reach people and show them the love of Jesus.❤️
