White Stone Ministries is dedicated first to Jesus Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom here on earth. We have multiple facets of ministry that all flow from the White Stone Ministry center, located in Lisbon, Ohio.
FAMILY ENVIRONMENT
One major focus of White Stone Ministries is to provide a safe, family-style environment to minister to hurting and abused young women. We are not a program, but are highly focused on Biblical teaching and Holy Spirit led prayer ministry in a very individual environment. We provide one-on-one prayer and counseling time in order to identify the lies & the blocks in their lives, and applying truth from the Word of God to each one; as well as group time every day which includes Bible study, prayer, teaching, & being able to interact with the other girls in a healthy learning environment where they all can share, give & take on a spiritual level, but no one is obligated to speak or share.
FUN, SAFE, & HEALTHY
The girls who live at Whitestone have a safe and private place to share their stories and validate their pain, as well as a place to be a part of a fun, encouraging, family-style environment with other girls who are learning & growing through hard things in their lives. We know physical health and well-being are important to mental and spiritual health, so we implement daily physical exercise and consistent, fun activities and outings.
WORK ETHIC & SERVICE
Work ethic and a heart of service towards the people around us are important things to instill into the lives of the girls we work with, so we find ways of serving the community, as well as help find job opportunities for the girls who are of working age. We own and operate a small, family-style restaurant that acts as a means of support to the ministry, as well as job training opportunities for the girls at Whitestone.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Another aspect of Whitestone Ministries is community outreach and being available to minister to anyone in need, especially young families and the elderly in our communities, through offering helping hands for work projects, prayer and emotional support, meals, etc. We also have an outreach for community youth, and bring them together for times of fun and fellowship, as well as worship and learning about Jesus.
We are committed to bringing the Word of God to the younger generation and teaching them by word and example that Jesus is the answer in our troubling times. We believe it is imperative for them to see that godly marriages and families do exist in this day and age.
We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to obey His great commission to “Go into the world and make disciples” and to show the world His love.
