“A Father’s Love” is the second of a set of four artworks featuring Matthew 10:29-31. Did you know that sparrows were worth very little in biblical times and yet they are greatly valued by God? Matthew 10:29 states “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.” Artist, Leslie Wittenmyer, beautifully illustrates the second part of this verse in this artwork. The entire set expresses God’s love for not just the sparrows, but for each one of us. However, our value and His love for us is so much greater!
